    2012 ,I’ve  been a toastmaster for almost 3 years,and I spent it all in humor bilingual club,It’s a wonderful experience,an unforgettable journey.

   I still remember July 2009,that hot summer night I came into the meeting room just for one girl,after two weeks she became my lovely mentor,that’s Mrs Radio.It’s hard to believe ,I first found her bolg by google, I was so stunted at that moment,because I never saw one person who can keep on writing blog for such a long time--9 years,from a high school student in wuhan ,then a university student in zhejiang ,and an officer lady in shanghai,I’m really curious about the author,what kind of person she is ,that’s the thing I tried to find out when I first came into Humor bilingual,and Now trace back the 3 three years I ever stayed with you, I’d like to thank my dear mentor ,radio,thank you to lead me into the wonderful world ;but wait,there is one thing I must point out ,you forget to tell me you’ve been married at that time,then I could not put you into my version “Those years,the girls we ever chased”.

After I became a member of the club, I began a new life,from Monday to Sunday,I always worried about how to find a good topic,how to remember the scripts,how to make my body language seems  more naturally,how to grasp the stage time,and at the same time ,I knew friends from all walks of life, from every cornor of the metropolitan city.

 Cindy Mi,A  girl with big eyes ,round face and louder voice,our pre president,And I still remember the first time I attended the meeting,I sat in the cornor of the room,so far from the stage, but surprisingly  I can hear very clearly every word that she pronounced,she is a good presenter ,a good leader,a good English teacher,and a good wife?Maybe Eugene could give us the answer more correctly.

And at that time  Yizhou is just a vpm ,vice president of membership.Off the stage ,he seemed to be a quiet and shy guy, but when one day he came on the stage  and give his famous  speech “old soldiers never die”,sorry its “everyday is dating day”,wow, you can’t imagine ,how powerful ,how revulutionalary,how fasinating the presetion is ,so many people just like me can’t help asking each other,is that the our vpm,is that the quite guy,he is a talent in presention,he is super star ,he is wangxi of our club,he is born for the stage,that’s right,the fact tell the truth, last year,he won the presentation  championship of the nationwide compitation,yi zhou,I want to say we are really proud of you.But wait,what makes the guy seems so different,so shining in such a short time,according to my analysis first and firmost it’s humor bilingual club,Only in our club ,yi zhou colud be given the power to grou up,and second and maybe more important ,once he told me secretly, at that time,a special woman suddently  turned  him from a boy into a  true man,wow how great the true love ,how great humor bilingual.

And the third person I’d like to mension is Teacher jin,actually he is not a teacher,but if you call him teacher jin,he’ll be verty happy,  at that time he is the secretary of our club, and according to his own words ,he won all the gold medals in writing compititon from high school,and till now every week he will finish reading 5 books and browing 3 movies.I wonder that’s reason I always find it difficult to understand his speech,cause normally it take me one year to finish 5 books.but  I also got a lot from Teacher Jin’s  presention ,for you see during my speech ,I don’t do very well in body language,but when I appreciate teacher Jin’s ,I feel more comfortable,at least I do more naturally than his.

Look back   every miniute we ever spent together during the three years,I feel really lucky to know so many good friends here ,for some reasons some of them come and go ,for example,Ms radio was busy to give birth to her first child   patato,Ms Cindy went to Beijing to fulfill her dream,and Mr shen jie flew to U.S.A to chase her baby girl,Andy left us for unknown reason and even I have been absent  for almost half an year,but during the days I were away, I  miss the Gourmet festival which we hold in Teacher jin’s big house,I miss the spring and autumn outing every year,I miss every beautiful night we share on Tuesday night.

So at the ending of my speech,I’d like to say,  I’ll be here and stay with you,my dear friends, to have and to hold from this day forward,

for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, for married or unmarried,

in sickness and in health,   to love and to cherish, so long as I am in shanghai,in china.

    第一次知道Toastmaster非常偶然，是在豆瓣上，然后通过google找关键字我发现了一个叫做diodio的blog，那一段时间她的blog中充满了toastmaster和一个叫做幽默双语俱乐部的关键字，第一印象这个人个话唠，居然有一个人从高中开始喋喋不休地写到工作，生命的轨迹也从武汉到杭州再到上海，让我有一种油然而生的想膜拜真人的感觉，非常高兴后来我见到了她，她后来也成为我的Mentor,就是我们的EVP张蕾小姐；第一次走进云峰的会议是2009的8月的一个周二的晚上，记得那天是英文会议，那时候的我比较羞涩，所以选择坐在最后面的位置，即使这样，我却依然可以清晰地听到主席Cindy洪亮的声音，渐渐熟悉后才发觉其实Cindy整个人也像她的声音那般的开朗而富有感染力，所谓的声如其人，每个遇到过她的人都会被她的笑声感染，哪怕你是一块拒绝融化的冰。

    很顺理成章，当时的VPM一周就过来忽悠，我就屁颠屁颠地上了贼船，其实入会很简单，需要做的就是出席两次会议，讲一个冷笑话，参加一个VPM主持的加入仪式，最后交钱，我讲的啥笑话我真的不记得了，不过那种全票通过然后全员鼓掌热情欢迎的场面我好久没有体验，上次应该还要追述到小学选三好学生的时候。

    开始我的CC之旅犹豫了很久，看C1-C10有那么多要求，怕自己的演讲还不够好，怕自己的英文还不够流利，不过后来我看到当时的翟攀峰做的英文演讲我对自己的英文有了信心，我看了资深会员金老师的演讲金老师做的演讲，我对Body language有了几分把握，看了Rock e的演讲知道，原来演讲可以只要一个开头，最后我看到程可佳的时候，我才恍然大悟，原来没有准备也没有关系，因为可以临时放鸽子的，于是我开始了我的Toastmaster之旅，做C1演讲，英文叫做ICE-BREAKING,中文叫做初试啼声，很紧张，准备了一个礼拜，从早上的公车上一直到来云峰的路上我都在背稿，功夫不负有心人，我的首次表演表现得不错，会议结束后萨莉亚的晚餐会上我的Mentor diodio小姐给予了褒奖让我很受鼓舞。由于俱乐部一周英文一周中文的会议形式，英文可以讲一些简单的Topic,而中文可以讲一些深入的话题，我的C2《我喜欢的一首词》，C7《爱在荒烟蔓草的年代》分别讲的是李清照的《点绛唇。初恋》和诗经里面的男女之情，这两次演讲完成以后我隐约感觉到我有了自己的粉丝，因为演讲后有俱乐部的资深美少女边边同学向我表白说你真是一个浪漫的双鱼座，看着着她暧昧的眼神，我当时的感觉是我好想死掉，同时我的演讲也拓宽了本俱乐部演讲的主题，我的点评人振宇哥点评说你的演讲主题很有新意，而且之后我们的前任主席lisa小姐更是在后续的演讲中也采用了诗经和中草药等的古典主题。

   当然用我Mentor 或者点评人杨振宇先生的话来说，我的演讲其实有一条主线那就是爱情，我的C3演讲是英文演讲《love song》点评了我喜欢的英文经典爱情歌曲得出的结论是;恋爱也要趁早啊，不然快乐也来得不是那么痛快，不久我的Mentor radio小姐就举行了她的婚礼，我的C5演讲的题目是《read a woman from her body language》，这不是说我是个中老手，其实作为一个IT男，我周遭接触的主要还是以男性人士为主，生存环境之恶劣用我同事的话来说，我们办公室飞出的一只苍蝇都是公的，但是作为一个生理和心理都非常健康的成熟男性我想尝试着做一些改变去认识这个世界上和我们相依为命的另一个物种还是很有必要的。

   回顾我的CC之旅，这是一段奇异的旅程，我不仅完成了我的前10个公众演讲，而且通过这个平台，一群鲜活的，年轻的，满载着生命的喜悦的个体慢慢地走入我的圈子，成为我生活的一部分。每周二的云峰剧场在幽默双语俱乐部这个充满惊喜的舞台上，不同风格的演讲者一个个粉墨登场，在这里我认识了青涩而害羞的杨振宇先生，认识了充满激情的上海一周，认识了充满民主和思辨光芒并且家里有１１个遥控器的金老师，认识了泼辣而快言快语的边边小姐，可爱而有点小胖的diodio小姐，认识了来自一个叫春的笑点很低的舒敏小姐，认识了一接通电话便会来上一句很嗲的“你好啊，我是lisa呀”的张毅丽小姐，我想说在这个繁忙的大都市的一个角落里可以认识这么一群臭味相投的人是我的幸运，我很享受在我生命里这段最好的时光里和你们一起走过的日子，我还记得美食节上金老师给我们烹制的黑色锅底荷包蛋居然还获得了最佳创意奖；我还记得宜兴之游，淅沥沥的春雨中我们边骑车边洒在路两边草丛中银铃般的笑声，我更不会忘记九月诗会时，我们促膝而坐，象孩子一般朗诵徐志摩、席慕容的经典诗歌，把自己感动得掉泪。回顾这两年的点滴，我想对幽默双语俱乐部和身处其中的每个会员说：你们的今天我已经参与，你们的明天我还希望继续搅和。

 恰好是5个中文， 5个英文，OH YA!!!

 These days  <IMG" />   I’ve just taken the MBA interview ,tonight  I’d like to share my experience with you,my dear friends,and I’ll try to analyse the relationship between the toastmaster meeting and interview,and I really wish that you’ll get something from my interview.

 While when I got the message that I’ve passed written part of the examination,I began to prepare for the coming interview,at that time there were  only two weeks left,and everybody is required to give a 2-3 minutes selfintroduction during the interview.Then I wrote my script and I tried to rehearsal before the mirror for almost 50 times,you know it’different from the ice-breaking speech,you can’t bring the script to the stage,I just do in the way that my toastmaster mentor radio ever told me before my C1 speech ,rehearsal ,rehearsal,rehearsal ,and cherish the stage time.

Time goes really fast,March 27^th,afternoon,I took on suit ,put on  tie and began my special journey .First When I came to the registration table,I met the SAA ,a very nice guy,always smiling ,just as I usually do,  he told me that I’d better close my mobile phone or turn it into silent mode , put it into an envelope,and seal it,while it’s  a good idea,but it seems that he forgot to tell me that whether there were any taboos.

     Then I was led to a big classroom,so many people were already  waiting there,  most of them were the first time guests .   Very soon,first part began,We were takent to  another classroom

,and one by one we went into it .It’s called English intereview,which aims to test your oral English level ,contributes to  about 10% of the total score ,It’s not a long time before my turn,When I came into the classroom,I found there were a foreign teacher and a Chinese one,,it’s just like  in toastmaster we call a promptu speech,the  topic and word of the day  is management,almost all the questions are focused on the key word,about my work experience and communication skills, just as we usually do, it’s not a tuff job for me ,but also there are something you must pay attention,I mean the etiquette,when you came in you’d better knock the door and say”May I come in?”,and when you left say bye,especiall y you must pay attention to the eye contact.

When my English interview was finished,I was led to the second

Room and began my individual interview,which is the most important part of the whole process .There were three interviewers,two were teachers from the school,and one was the HR Supervisor from a corporation,I came in and sat in my chair and  began my prepared speech, my self introduction,during the speech I tried to keep eye contacts with the three interviewers to ensure they really caught the information,and After the speech,then Came the Q&A session ,while if you do the speech very well,the questions will centered on it ,on your working experience, ask sth they were really interested in but you didn’t give enough detais ,and give questions related to your management skills to test whether you have the potential to be a good leader,for example ,one of the teachers asked me how did I cooprate with my colleagues from another department when I was in a project,so before it you my prepare some answers for the question that the interviews may ask,while there is one thing I must point out ,there is a tenique called pressure test the teachers my use,just ask some tuff question,e.g why did you stay in one level for such a long time, at that time please be quiet,and try to give some positive reasons,so after about 8 miniutes Q&A session,the teacher told me that I may left the room ,when I stepped out of the room,I felt there was something lost,and suddently I remembered that they hadn’t given any evaluation on my speech .

 And finally I came to the last part,which is called the group discussion,and I met my other 5 teammates and we were given a case , about a private corporation,and we were asked to give solutions to the problem it met with ,while it’s just like I usually do in toastmaster,but in toastmaster we use another name ,we called it offcer meeting, the process is very similar,there is president who hold the meeting,and erverybody will say something about the topics,and then have a brainstorm,and finally there will be one person to  sum up all the conclusion and give a report,but also there are difference ,in the interview we have a timer,he will control the time,which is better than we do in offcer meeting,our meeting always last for 3 hours,and interview all the discussion we focused on the topic ,but while in offcer meeting,we may start with a serious topic but finally we always come to the discussion about who is fell in love with sb,who is having dating with a guy.While we’d better be ;professional,ok?
